areaDElectoral Area D (Fraser Lake Rural) is the rural area surrounding the Village of Fraser Lake.  The unincorporated communities within the area are Endako and Fort Fraser.
The area boasts of 170 lakes within a 100 km radius and is the temporary home to over 1000 Trumpeter Swans during the spring.
Electoral Area D has two major employers, Fraser Lake Saw Mill and Endako Molybdenum Mines.  From its humble beginnings in the early 1900's, Fraser Lake Sawmill (owned and operated by West Fraser Timber Company Ltd.) has evolved into one of the world's most modern sawmills. Endako Molybdenum Mines was at one time the second largest Molybdenum Mine in the world. Endako Mine and Fraser Lake Sawmill employ the majority of Fraser Lake and Area residents.Btn DP Fraser
