Temporary Gate-Check/Scale Attendant
Smithers/Telkwa Transfer Station and Recycling Depot

The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako is seeking applicants to fill two temporary, part-time positions of Gate-Check/Scale Attendants at the Smithers/Telkwa Transfer Station and Recycling Depot. The positions are temporary for four to six months with a 4 on 4 off rotation. Weekday (Mon to Fri) hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, and weekend hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The positions have a starting wage of $23.34 and are subject to a 3-month probationary period.

Gate-Check/Scale Attendants are responsible for screening all vehicles visiting the site and directing them to the appropriate disposal areas.
