The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako is pleased to announce that some reuse sheds will be reopened to the public beginning on May 26, 2016. Based on feedback received from public meetings held in October 2015 as well as recommendations in a report from a safety consultant, new rules will be in effect at the facilities and for the Burns Lake and Smithers/Telkwa Transfer Station sites, additional RDBN staff have been hired to manage the reuse sheds. The public is being requested to only drop off items during operational hours of the reuse sheds. Any items dropped off outside of operational hours will be thrown away with regular garbage.
The facilities being reopened at this time are as follows. Please note that all sites will be closed on Statutory Holidays.
