The Burns Lake Rural Fire Protection Area service is provided by Burns Lake Fire & Rescue. Burns Lake Fire & Rescue is operated by the Village of Burns Lake. The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako provides annual funding to support operations and capital purchases.

- Road Rescue
- Medical First Response

Topley Fire Protection Area

The Topley Rural Fire Protection Area service is in both Rural Area B and in Rural Area G. Services for this fire protection area are provided by Topley Volunteer Fire Department.
